Public Trust and Public Safety
This project, one of two being pursued through the Quad’s new Global Ideas Accelerator format, seeks to identify appropriate definitions for “Public Trust” and “Public Safety” in today’s Colorado Springs.
A team of interdisciplinary students working under the guidance of a multi-specialty faculty group compiled academic literature, case studies, community interviews and a limited survey to understand the inclusive range of current and historical perspectives. They then studied the intersection of these perspectives to generate important insight.
A complete white paper of these findings will be published in early September. A preliminary summary and recorded presentation is available now for community use.
